Aid for Pakistan

Where is the United States now that Pakistan needs our help? This could be the real breaking point in ridding the region of the taliban, why arent we taking advantage of the opportunity to show our compasionate side!! Right now California is planning to build a $578 Million dollar high school in an area with a 50% drop out rate!! Why dont we take half of that budget and give it to Pakistan a country where people come to the United States from and start important small businesses in our country. The avarage 10th grader in Pakistan is probably smarter than the average first year college student in America (for certain in math and sciences). All I can say is that I'm embarrassed that more isnt being done to help a key country to defeating the taliban and humanitarian aid has less risk than a military occupation of a country am I right? Anyway I'm just a college drop out and a stay at home mom so who cares what I think anyway.

Mosque in New York

I dont know why everyone seems to have a problem with this thing, they are not even near ground zero but people want to freak out about it. Most non muslim americans drive past Mosques all the time and dont even know that they are there. And now that a large percentage of people what was it.... 80% think they shouldnt build the mosque but where did this percentage come from? I didnt take that poll and neither did anyone else I know.

This is what I think of all you people who say they shouldnt build a mosque two blocks from ground zero. You are a hater and you should be ashamed of yourself you cant hate all muslims for what a few crazy ppl did. When you treat people with hatred you will get hatred in return. At some point it has to stop and you have to say enough is enough and just judge each individual for who they are not for what they are.

Anyways Muslims have as much right to freedom of religion and freedom to purchase property as anyother person in the United States. They are an important part of our economy and start lots of small businesses so do we really want to make more enemies of the good Muslims just because we are upset about a terrorist attack. There are more American born and America made terrorists anyways like the Oklahoma bombing, Virginia Tech shooting, the Colorado High School shootings.

If we do not allow the Mosque to be built we are the biggest Fu#@ing hypocrits and I will be embarrassed to call myself American. Hell I might just have to move to Canada now.
